Founded in 1998, Singular Inversions
specializes in statistical modelling of the shape and appearance
of human faces, combining expertise in computer vision,
statistics, and computer graphics.
Our mission is to create the next generation of 3D human face technologies
based on statistical modelling. FaceGen 4, ready in mid 2009, will
feature improved realism, detail and speed.
We are a small company, and license our technology to other companies to reach end markets,
with applications such as:
- Interactive entertainment software (such as games).
- Avatar-based communication software.
- Face recognition research & development.
- Graphics and psychology research.
- Police sketch artist software.
- Virtual 'try-on' and 'makeover' software.
